The Laurels of Gahanna is very pleased that many surgeons and attending physicians follow their patients at our facility.
If your physician does not have admitting privileges, our Medical Director or other attending physician will be happy to oversee your care while you are staying with us. If you have any questions regarding your physician coverage, please don't hesitate to contact us at (614) 337-1066. We can assist you to ensure that you will have physician coverage.

Ashley Durant, DO
Medical Director
Dr. Durant, a medical doctor with Theoria Medical, joined The Laurels of Gahanna as medical director in July 2021.
Dr. Durant is board certified in family medicine. She received her undergraduate degree from Langston University, where she majored in biology and minored in chemistry, and then went on to obtain her
doctorate from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her medical residency in family medicine in 2014 and began practicing ambulatory and primary care medicine in Odessa, Texas. From there, she went on to work in Dallas, Texas, before joining the team with Theoria Medical and relocating to Ohio.
